Accessibility

We target Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at the AA conformance level across safua.ai and the Safua product. This covers:

Keyboard navigability for all interactive elements
Screen reader compatibility on major assistive tech (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver)
Sufficient color contrast (4.5:1 body text minimum, 3:1 large text minimum)
Focus indicators on every interactive element
Alternative text on all content images
Semantic HTML structure and proper heading hierarchy
Captions and transcripts on video content
Resizable text without horizontal scrolling up to 200% zoom

Safua’s post-authentication product (the IDE, Review Engine, Mission Control) is still being built. As those surfaces ship, they’ll be audited against the same standard before public release.

Dark-mode color contrast audit is ongoing; we’ve verified primary flows, not every sub-page.
The FacultyCarousel and Tools marquee animations can be paused via prefers-reduced-motion, but we don’t yet have a UI toggle for users who want to disable animations without system-level settings.
Video content on future product tutorials will ship with captions; we don’t yet publish video.
Screen reader testing has been done on VoiceOver (macOS); NVDA and JAWS testing is ongoing.

We’ll update this list as gaps close. We’ll add new gaps when we find them. No accessibility page worth trusting claims 100% conformance.

We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and fix confirmed WCAG AA issues within 30 days. More complex issues may take longer; we’ll communicate timelines.
